For some larger businesses, a separate engineering insurance policy may be preferable to adding the cover to a commercial combined policy. Items covered can include just about any type of plant or equipment, fixed or mobile.
As well as insuring against breakdown, loss and damage, engineering insurance policies can also be arranged to cover the cost of statutory inspections required on certain items of plant.
