It is often more appropriate to arrange a stand alone goods in transit insurance policy. These may be used to cover goods sent in owned vehicles, or those sent by third party carriers. The mode of transport can be road, rail, sea or air. An annual policy can be arranged to cover all shipments of goods both inwards and outwards on a worldwide basis.
